[Resolved] counting downloads

Hello:
How does one count how many times an archive is downloaded.

Is I post an archive, how can I keep track of how many people have downloaded the archive.

What I think is create a table where I keep the number of times it has been downloaded and then count the times.

Is that the way it is done? Are there other ways?
