File Management

Hi and thanks for reading.

I am looking for recommendations for a script that will allos for simple file management of files and directories in a subfolder of a webroot.

I need:

User authentication
Administrator capabilities to add and edit users
Upload, download, deletion of files by admin and users
Users can only access their own directory

I have seen many around but mostly seem to be overkill and I don't want to put that much in front of the user.

Have you tried hotscripts.com if you have i dont think there would be any for free that match what you are looking you may need to get one made by someone if you cannot make it yourself.

Well I have looked at hotscripts and found a variety of scripts to do that and more. some do too basic (no authentication) and others appear to be overkill.

If anyone has experience with one of them however that is positive that would be helpful nfo.

I don't have any problem with paying a reasonable fee for it at all, but I don't have time to code it myself.

I have implemented something of that sort, using PHP's FTP functions, but it was tailored to the server I was working on.

It shouldnt be too difficult to do the same, especially since you want one that isnt complex.
