Most forums allows users to change their usernames. I find myself in a position where I would like to change it at this forum (albeit to something very similar but not my actual surname). For reasons I could elaborate upon but I don't really want to go into it except via email/PM.
Is this possible, or should I just re-register?

With vBulletin, I think it's only possible for the admins to change the usernames.
IIRC, the policy on this board is that you re-register since I'm sure the admins don't want 20,000 people emailing them asking for their names to be changed.
I changed from OhLordy to bubblenut (becasue that's what I am elsewhere) a while ago. There was a little bit of finger wagging (apparently it's not the done thing to have more than one account), but I couldn't see any other way of satifying my vanity :p 😉

I've never written a book but I've got a habit of saying things that people don't like and I did go through a phase of being avidly against the idea of organized religion, a view which since reading Paulo Coelho's Autobiography has taken a rather drastic U-turn. Profile
