session variables and 4.3.4

I just moved to a server with PHP 4.3.4 from one with 4.2.3... I had a shopping cart that passes variables through POST to another script which then displays them.

It worked fine with the old server, but the new server does not work right. Everytime I try to pass the form variables through POST, the next page is blank. Any ideas?

check your php.ini or phpinfo() you will probably find register globals is set to off

there are several thing you can do

1 ask server admin to set to on (but not advisable)

2 edit script and change all vars that refer to a $POST to
$var to $POST['var']

3 use the extract function at the start of each script that isnt working
extract($_POST);
