events listing: unknown dj amount problem

I'm creating a dynamic events system for a club night, each of the events have common attributes i.e. venue_name, price, start_time etc. However, for each event there will be a different amount of dj's, i was thinking of dynamically creating a seperate table for each night to hold the dj's for that specific night when a new night is added through the admin panel. However, i'm a bit unsure of how to dynamically create and then populate a dj field for an unknown amount of dj's. My system will pass a integer across to this section of the system that represents the number of required dj's but how can i use this number to correctly create the right number of columns in the database and then create the correct number of input fields?.

or is there a much simpler way to do this?

would a lookup table work?

The lookup table relates the event (relnightId) to the DJ (relDJId).

each of the fields points to the Id for the night and the Id for the DJ. That way, each event can have 1 DJ or many DJs.

There's a good tutorial out there with this technique, but unfortunately, I can't remember the author and I can't find it right now. I'll keep looking.
