is there a php-emulator to run php-scripts on a pc standalone with windows XP ?
How about PHP? There is a Windows binary. If you don't want to go thrugh the hassle of installing IIS, look up something called WAMP.
not to mention IIS has as much respect for the security of your machine, as a drunk guy has for a pint of beer... 🙂
You could always install them separately, of course.
An alternative would then be to use Xitami as the webserver, though I would only recommend it as part of your PHP testing environment, not for production websites (though some may beg to differ).
