Hi there -

I was wondering if anyone could give me a bit of information about how uploads put a strain on the server? Am I right in thinking that when you upload something, a temp data file gets created aswell as the one you're uploading? I'm building a site that will have a regular stream of uploads (300k a pop) and need to know if there's a chance it could crash the server.

If the server runs out of disk memory, it would crash the server. But an upload shouldn't effect bandwidth and processing too much, unless you have a lot of people uploading at the same time.
