I Think I'm Gonna Die!

I am so confused! I need help writing a script that will display just one row.

I am trying to build a database for cars. The information will come from user input.

The user will enter the year, make, model, vin, and color. It will go on table 1.

Table 2 will show if the car has been sold and the salespersons name and company email address.

The user will be required to enter the VIN number to see if the car is in the system. If it is I need it to diplay the year, make, model, vin, and color.

If it isn't it needs to display, no match found.

If the car has been sold, I need it to join the two tables and display the year, make, model,vin, sold (marked with a checkbox), the salesmans name, and email.

I can't figure out how to diplay just that one row of information. The user won't have access to the row number, so it can't be pulled that way. It has to be done with the vin number.

Please help! I'm dying out here!

Point 1.. in future try to make your post have a more meaningful title, that way more people will read it, and you're more likely to get a response.

Point 2..

Create a form that has a text input called "vin" and a submit button. When the user enters a number you then use that in an sql query to pull the right record from the database.
