What do you wear to work?

We all know that Piersk dances nude at posting parties, Elizabeth is trading her maternity clothes back in for new stylish togs, and BuzzLY looks great in a Speedo, pending the outcome of a Brazilian wax ... or did I mean a space suit? (no, don't even ask!)

So, how about a thread on uniformity, or the lack thereof ... or clothes, or the l... never mind that.

How do you dress to go to work? The poll has some options ... feel free to add your own commentary, of course, or even show us your best look if you dare (just please remember, folks (Piersk? 😃), that this is a public forum 😉 )...

I dress comfortably, but also what makes me look the least fat and hides the baby spit-up the best. Yummy, huh. 😃

and now back to the dentist... because before it didnt hurt, and now its unbearably painful..... (ironic right? -- they fix something and it hurts when it never did before.... :rolleyes: )

Onion at work:

Jeans, T-Shirt, socks.
Usually listening to something rawkous. (Currently the Sahara Hotnights, the Eyeliners, the Detroit Cobras and the Donnas).
Lots of coffee and sweets.

Working from home has distinct advantages.

i wear a yellow shirt, brown trousers (folded up at the bottom), a red cardigan and a spinning bow tie

actually i just wear jeans, whatever's comfortable - except when i have client meetings, when i wear a suit

Hmm, maybe I need some of those clients. I can't think of anyone I've every pitched to where I'd need a suit ... well, maybe we are hillbillies here 😉

The DaleCo uniform is: choice of shoes, blue jeans, and a blue or black polo (sleeves are seasonal) with the company name and slogan on the left crest (breast? actually a tad higher ...)

My son and I are the only people that have them, of course ... but I do have a closet full of suits. I feel funny wearing one to a client's though, because more often than not I'm troubleshooting under desks or in a server room rather than meeting with suited people around big oak tables ... (one client does have such a table, though....)

Geez, I'm getting a bit of a bad rep here. Oh well 😃

Generally it's smart-ish (shirt, smart trousers, smart shoes) unless a client is around when it's suit, tie etc.

Oh, and if I go in on a weekend then it's jeans and t shirt.

Except when no one else is around 😉

clients are government/military types. My boss always taught me just to make sure i am always smarter than the client.

Hehe.. I hear that. I'm thinking of just buying some paper suits from the local prison so that if I get spit-up or other misc. baby fluids on it, I can just toss it in the Diaper Genie (tm)..

Just a thought.

As for what I actually wear? Oh, um... that depends on how hot it is at the house... 🙂

heh, well you got the .af.mil part right... :p

and yah the BDU have so many regs that go with em its not funny... as does any other aspect of the DoD...:rolleyes:
