What is sql lite and how php can intreact with sql?

Hi all,

I have my website developed using Mysql and php. BUt my hosting company offering data base to SQL Lite. Is this change affects my website?. If it affects, how can i convert my database functions in mysql function to SQL Lite?. Please give me ideas regarding this?
