Terminal Emulator for PHP

Hi Everybody!

I am researching, is there any terminal emulator for PHP?
I would need to access complex (VT100 VT220 ANSI TN5250 etc) terminal servers... much lick WAC Access Server and Toolkit [URL]http://foxitsoftware.com/wac/server_intro.htm[/URL] 

The idea of decoding, and negotiating Telnet RFC 854 commands... PLUS decoding all the possible terminal escape secuences is scary :( enough to ask this question, right?

Any project going arround? I found absolutely nothing about this...

I don't think PHP will be your language of choice for this task. Its possible it could be done with sockets. But you literally have to build your protocol from the ground up.
