Navicat is a great program and have used it for years! However, I think that the tech support at Navicat (assuming you bought the program) would be more than happy to help you with that one. There are just some functions that MySQL has built in that Access doesn't and some that Access has built in that mSQL doesn't and so on and so forth. So the best thing I can tell you is that if you stick with pure SQL you can't ever go wrong. Also ask the Navicat tech support. They are really friendly and very knowledgeable!
