I am thinking of more a setting or network problem, since the scripts worked before and there are only several users have this problem. So maybe this is related to client side.
That sounds reasonable, given that only "some users" are affected. But we're still taking shots in the dark.
Are the affected users programmers who use .php with some editor or IDE? So, the server's misconfigured, but saving the file locally isn't an issue, except for the guys who open .php with some IDE that sits on a pw-protected network share? (kinda like playing "charades" or "Taboo", isn't it? 😉 )
