[Resolved] [Resolved] PHP link in an email

How can I include a link in an email that would open a php file?
I tried:

...
$mail_body = "<p>Click <a href=\"filename.php?tn=$tn&cid=$cid\">here</a> to view/modify some values. ";
mail($mail_to, $mail_subject, $mail_body, $headers)

I do get the email and the hyperlink, but when I click on it it asks what I want to use to browse it (I navigated the folders and selected iexplorer.exe) and got something like this in the browser's url:
outbind://14-000000002E15414EE7032246A3B547949113DE1604842000/filename.php?tn=SMHM0666205&cid=MKSMH87028

What am I doing wrong?

you aren't including the full url.
http://www.site.com/filename.php?tn=$tn&cid=$cid

if you leave that out different email programs may handle the directory a different way. in your case outbind:// and then that long string of letters and numbers probably representing the email's id.
