[Resolved] email admin and user

i have a form that get's info from a user then updates the mysql database.

what i want is this. that after they successfully submit the entries, i recieve an email of their registration and that the person also recieves a confirmation email with his/her username and password. what i have now is this:

mail ("[e-mail]", "Account activation", "New Registration: $name $surname requested registration."); 

this sends only an email to myself but when i repeat it something like

mail ("$email", "Account activation", "your username is $user and password is $password . ");

the new user doesn't get any email at all! thanks.

Are you sure $email has the expected value inside it? Try echoing it out just before the mail function.

i just resolved the problem. i noticed that the two should be place in a separate <? ?> inclusion. thanks.
