2 columns then a new row

I don't think its my day today, struggling with yet more code.

Basically I want to output the results from an array and format them, creating 2 columns and 1 item per column and then a new row e.g

Any ideas guys?

You really need to look at your question and topic again... they contradict each :p luckily you gave the HTML you wanted... so here ya go 🙂

Sorry if it didn't read correctly, had a very long day.

The code you've suggested is very similar to the code I've written myself and I still find myself with the same problem.

If I have 10 results in an array my results are formatted like so:

4 5
6 7
8 9
10

0 1 (1 % 2 = 1) </tr>
2 3 (3 % 2 = 1)... etc etc

hmm...that will produce invalid HTML if you have an odd number of elements (one <td></td> will be left out =P )
use this instead =)

$elements=array(0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10);

$cols=2;
$currentElement=0;

It's because of guys like you browsers are so slow and bloated...98% of the code of browsers exist do deal with invalid HTML...

Incorrect,
I merely provide the means for the HTML to be generated, I could careless on how it validates, I dont do HTML or care to learn it to perfection, I do programming/coding

He asked for results, I provided a means, nothing more, you provided overly complex and inefficient code to solve the problem so I guess it could be said that "It's because of guys like you websites are so slow and bloated...98% of the code is excessive and inefficient..."

but that wouldnt be accurate because you didnt provide a program (or a website), same as I didnt provide a webpage, so take your generalizations and stereotypes and take em to the EL, they aren't needed in the help forums, I'll gladly debate with you there

PS. I have no way of testing PHP from here, so shrug it gets the point across and I'm sure its a matter of a few minor fixes to get it functional.... :rolleyes:
