Issue with NUSOAP

Hi there,

I've got an issue with NUSOAP and calling a WebService.
I have a working PHP WebSerivces client on a hosted domain. Everything works exactly as intended.

I move all the scripts to a machine in our company's data center. It has the exact same version of PHP installed.

However, the SOAP calls do not return any results. I also do not get any PHP error message or warning.

Does anybody have any idea how to troubleshoot? Does NUSOAP use any ports so that maybe a firewall setting can be disturbing.

Any point to start with is greatly appreciated.

if the firewall blocks http traffic (port 80), this could be the problem - however, i guess in this case php would issue a warning that the connection could not be established - so u should try to put nusoap try to echo your client object's debug info at the end of your script, i.e. using echo "<pre>" . $client->debug_str . "</pre>" (assuming your object is named $client, of course), and check out the results - it helped my one time when i encountered problems setting up the class.

Thanks for all your help.

I managed to solve this issue: There were some dynamic link libraries (modules / extensions) missing with the PHP setup in our company. We compared all the module setting (phpinfo()) of the hosts setup with ours and finally found that some were not loaded locally.

Having set up all extensions exactly like the host, NUSOAP now works perfectly fine.
