This is kinda aimed at jstarkey but also at everyone else.

Is there anything in the pipeline for PHPBuilder merchandise (t-shirts etc)?

Would anyone buy it?

Was just wondering because it would be a great way of spotting people who belonged...

Maybe have an option to display your username on the back.

Hmmm... it's 2am here... maybe it's time for bedzzzzzzzzzz

Geez, I'm thinkin far too much about this...

We could set up something with Cafepress and sell these with the PHPBuilder logo on the from and username on the back on the shoulders.

Admittedly, most people would be a bit confused by people wondering around with these on, but we could start a new craze 😃

And the proceeds could support your PHPBuilder Con UK 2004... Heck, I'd buy one!

Don't know about the "username on the shirt" thing tho- I get enough wacked emails from people 🙂

See if we can pimp them over at thinkgeek 😃
I well-placed suggestion on slashdot would get things going

          Sounds good.

What if people here were to send in a couple of pics, and someone photoshops (or gimps, if you prefer) them together for a group photo that we could insert somewhere? 🙂

Well, that could be an "added extra" cos I'd personally be happy to have my name there. Or is that just seriously geeky??

And as for proceeds going somewhere, I was thinking either to PHP (do they take donations?) or the OS foundation.

Although the PHPCon UK Beer fund would be a grateful charity too :p

You mean I'm not the only one? 🙁 Who are these other people? Eh? Eh? I'll take care of them for you. For You.

It's just because you're so lovely. People see you as the surrogate mother of the board. 🙂

Just think about it, if no one else signs up but loads of people by the shirts, that means all the more beer for us 😃

Why not have another way to promote my nerdesqueness? I'm all for it!

                        or maybe even ...

Sheesh I'm only 32- barely enough to be Merve's mom... can't I be the surrogate crazy aunt that nobody in the family really wants to talk about?

Well, it's been discussed on this server, whether or not you can find 'em, well, that's another kettle o' fish...

Laundry just piles up when you spend all your time in the EL

Hopefully, JS can let us know if the box is at least wearing (outer)pants...

                            😉

I think, in light of what does go on 'round here ... you really need to find another hardshelled female geek to spend some time in the EL....

Who does she think she is 😃

                                      Really! A life, indeed! Hmmph.

Maybe I'll PM her to see if she can get me one too.

Hehe. Didn't you know, as soon as you get a job with computers thats the first thing to go straight out the window!

Anyway, thrusting this straight back on topic....

I'm waiting for the big man to come on and say that it's completely against Jupitermedia's copyright policy
