Of course this is possible. However, if you know nothing of coding or problem solving, or PHP, you'll have to do some learning before you can accomplish your goals ...
Search this site for "FAQ's", "Solutions", etc. At the top of most of the forums (sub-forums?) there are some "sticky" posts that address the issues that get harped about the most.
Secondly, Google is your friend. Try strings like "PHP programming" and "PHP Tutorials" ...
Thirdly, a good book never hurt anyone. If you've not the cash to spend, try a library (a big one, preferably...) If they have an Interlibrary loan program, chances are pretty good you could grab a title. Which title? Search these forums for strings like "books" or "recommended books" ... AAMOF, six of our members recently finished up a title for WROX publishing and we're real proud of them ... AFAIK, it's now available at amazon ... "Beginning PHP and MySQL Web Development" I think is the title...
Fourthly, there is the [man]manual[/man], which is as vital to PHP programmers as is the Bible to the Christian or a copy of the Koran to the Muslim...
Finally, once you've started to learn a little about PHP, you will likely have some troubles. Forumlate a good question, and ask it in the appropriate forum here at phpbuilder.com
You'll find the community very willing to help, as long as you use some common sense and stick within some of our guidelines, err, suggestions ... umm, [really, I mean don't hit the 'pet peeves' or you may end up LHTD...]
