PHP and MySQL Table Search

Tell me if this is possible. I have a page that's listing mulitple products, which are contained in a table.

I have each of these products set up with a radio button to select them. I have linked the button to a php page called "show item"

I would like a new page to pop up, that will show the individual item, then give additional information (which will be from another table).

Do I have to join both tables in the new page to get information from both tables to pull? 😕 I am not sure how to set this up... does anyone have a link for some good reading material on this subject? 😃

yep - you will have to join the tables - or do something similar - like retrieve the product id from one table and query the row with the according id from the other.

i think the mysql documentation is not such a bad place to start at: www.mysql.com

That's what I thought... makes sense to me. If anyone has a more specific area of read... I would appreciate it. I am learning as I go here, so I like to teach myself as much as I can... so it sticks :p
