HELP !! SORTING CSV file

Hi!
Could Anyone show me an example how to short a csv file by height or by age?

here is the file

firstname,lastname,height,age,image
Matt,Jim,1.7m,24,/images/IMG_421.jpg
Jimmy,Hen,5'11",12,/images/IMG_331.png
Jeff,Cur,4.5ft,22,
Jack,,75in,19,/images/m.gif

well one option would be to read the file line by line, and explode() the data on each line into an array....

or you can read the whole file in to an huge array (one line per array element) then explode each element of the array using , as a delimiter

OR you can use the CSV functions in PHP fgetcscv

I was able to read the file using this script

but how woudl i short it? by height or lastname

for example the out put should sort by the tallest person

Joe Davis 1.7m 24 /images/IMG_3021.jpg
Jane Smith 4'11" 12 /images/IMG_3131.png
Fred Jones 4.5ft 22

any example woudl be helpfull

write a custom sort function using usort() or one of the other custom sort functions 😉
