HELP NEEDED - Not Passing Variables

Hello Fellas,

We just put a new server together.

Configuration:

FreeBSD 4.9
Apache 1.3.29_5
PHP 4.3.6
MySQL 4.0.18

PROBLEM:

When you have a link like:

page.php?id=5

The ID is not being passed to the following page. I tested echoing it, and its just not there.

What could be happening there?

Any help is trully appreciated.

Hi,

In your new version of PhP the default setting for REGISTER_GLOBALS is switched of. You will either have to change that setting, or you have to use the superglobals $POST[] and $GET[] to get your variables:

Data from the url:

$id = $_GET['id'];

Posted data:

$id = $_POST['id'];
