Sharing sessions between users

Is there a way to share data stored in sessions between differents users ?
Some server session ?

sharing "stored" data?

as in data in a database table? if so, then, yes you can easily shared stored data between multiple users.

as in data from user A's form? Err yes and no. Unless whatever A puts in the form is inserted into a database table and not just into some sort of session variable, then yes user B can access it. Otherwise I am pretty sure user B could not access A's session variables without giving B the same session ID

actually, there are shared memory functions...your server may or may not be configured to support them.

they seem a bit arcane to me...probably only use them if you're doing some kind of crazy real-time game or something...and even then you don't necessarily need them.

in addition to database access, you could write a file--although you might encounter consistency problems if you have more than one session writing the same file...could be very tricky...you'll need semaphores and locking to keep things straight.
