Email & website links

I have a site where I pull business listings from a database and I want to be able to list their email and address with a link if there's one listed for them in the database. Right now I've got it up so they come up like this:

Business name
[e-mail]
http://www.websiteaddress.com

I want it to come up like this:

Business name
email <---with a link to the email address
Website <----website link

I'm having trouble figuring out how to do this. I've tried doing an if statement but I'm obviously doing it wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am thinking this is what you would want to do:

if ($email != "") {
echo "<a href = \"mailto:$email\">email</a>;
}

Thanks! I'll give that a try. It's close to what I was trying but not quite...hopefully this will work 🙂
