My host is providing me no help with this to being with, so ANY help is GREAT.

I have a domain with a domain add-on. The files and everything work but the images wont show. They all display the correct that...I think...they look correct in the properties box anyways.

The images directory permissions are 777 due to a GD script embedded. It must stay 777 as well.

My directory tree looks like this:

/home/username/public_html/

the domain addon points here

/home/username/public_html/spechalstash

and images are located here:

/home/username/public_html/spechalstash/images

Could be that your host implemented virtual hosting incorrectly.

What if you try with other new subdirectories, with non-image files?

If the claimed image properties are correct (name, URL, size, dimensions, and so on) try saving it and looking at it with an image viewer. If you can look at the binary itself, even better. See exactly what you're receiving, in short. If you can look at the http headers that the response includes, that could offer clues as well (for Mozilla and Firefox you could use the livehttpheaders extension).

And can you look in the server's filesystem to see what the images there are like? Are they still intact? Download them some other way and have a look.

Figured it out. Hotlink protection in my CPanle was enabled and didnt have the add-on domains info in it.
