selecting dates from a mysql db?

Hello!

I got a table called reports that contains alot of info and a date column. The date column has several dates like:

2004-05-10
2003-11-22
2004-05-12
(Y-m-d)

Im not sure how to only select the columns that only have the dates between (example) 2004-05-05 and 2005-05-20 giving me only:

2004-05-10
2004-05-12

??

Can i do it in the query?

SELECT * FROM table WHERE column BETWEEN '2004-05-05' AND '2004-05-20'

I believe that would accomplish that
