login script with anti auto login

I have made the following script, http://www.phpbuilder.com/board/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10275924
where I would made a yahoo a like anti auto login script.

I would place the variable $lognummer into my database by theperson that would login.
But I don't now never who is gowing to login.

I would not store the info of the variable $lognummer into a cookie because its traceble (firewall).

How would you do it? My web developent is not so far.

Hi,

Use sessions.

If you have a running session, you could link the current session (Which is specific for that one connection) to the random number you show in the image. You store the session ID and the number for login into a seperate table. So you check both that hte current person logging in is a registered user, and you check the combination of session with random number.
