saving an image from flash/swf

hi
i am making a flash game where children can play with drag and drop objects.
i want them to be able to save the final image as jpg/gif and send it via email.
preferably they can just click a button that will call PHP to capture the screen. does that make sense? can i do this using PHP? how do i go about it?
any other idea?
