need gd2 on php 4.2.2 (windows) - neewbie

Hello,

I have a windows (IIS) server with php 4.2.2
I can not upgrade the version of php as I then loose a support agreement with Ensim (web server management software), and I can not risk this.

So I need to somehow get gd2 to work on the server as it is.

Could someone explain to me step by step (as to a five year old) how I would go about to get this done?

Help would be extremly appreciated.

From my understanding, this is not really possible unless you are willing to recompile php which is also going to void your ensim warranty (read what I am basing this on here: http://forum.rackshack.net/showthread.php?threadid=22452&highlight=gd2, which is Linux, of course, but the PHP versions in Ensim should be the same). That means your options are:
1. Upgrade to Ensim Pro (you must be running version 3.1.xx if you still have PHP 4.2.2) which has PHP 4.3.1 OR
2. Upgrade PHP on your existing Ensim installation, and take your chances w/Ensim.

I chose 2 as Ensim will no longer be supporting versions 3.1.xx soon anyway....
