Assign Permissiones on existing files / directories for NT groups

Hello!

I'd like to change permissions on an existing directory and existing individual files. For them I'd like to set Read permissions for one NT group and change permissions for another group; also full control permissions for still another group.

Can anybody tell me how to do this? As I understood the function chmod(), it changes the permissions but only for the logged in user who starts the php script.

chmod (or rather chown/chgrp) will only work on *nix systems.

You want to be running a system command on CACLS.exe.

Try this for its arguments.
