This thread has progressed from the original topic to one of thinking up different ways to echo "I'm sorry" a 1000 times, preferably without the use of a loop.
We should have more puzzles like this. They're a good way of improving one's* PHP.

Those are more aimed at big projects. Some of us are already working on big projects. I was think more along the lines of puzzles that you can solve in ten minutes.
I'd've thought "Hello World" was a pretty simple problem 🙂.
There was a couple that came up when this thread temporarily went off the rails.
I really love stuff like this - where you can see a bunch of different approaches to solving the same problem. Many things begin to make sense (for people like me) when I browse these...v
