Is there an easy way to forward attachments in emails?

Hello,

We have had a closed communication system built in PHP which sends the emails back and forth between parties without them ever seeing the other party's email address.

However, when an email has an attachment, the attachment does not get sent through properly. The system tries to deconstruct the attachment and you only see a bit of code.

Is there an easy way to forward attachments using PHP?
