Need help with SQL statement

I am trying to figure a problem:

What I have is

Topic

TopicKey
Topic

Discussion

DiscussionKey
TopicKey
Message

On my first page I have all the Topic listed
What I would like to show is how many messages are in Discussion that relate to the topic.

Topic Number of messags

---

Bananas 2

ect..

I am toying with this statement:

SELECT Topic.Topic
FROM Topic, Discussion
WHERE Topic.TopicKey = Discussion.TopicKey

But I don't know where to go from here.

Try something like this.......

SELECT Topic.Topic, count(*) as TopicCount
FROM Topic, Discussion
WHERE Topic.TopicKey = Discussion.TopicKey
Group By Topic.Topic
