I am a photographer interested in creating a site devoted to my work. What I need to do is create a portfolio to display my work. Here is the problem. I don't want my work stolen. I know I can disable the right click function. This doesn't prevent people from grabbing my pictures from the temporary internet directory. I would like to be able to prevent people from simply taking my pictures. Is there a way to accomplish this? All I need to know is if this is possible and possibly a pointer in the right direction. Any help is appreciated!
If the user can view the picture on their screen the they can do a screengrab. Any solution is a waste of time.
The print screen key can be disabled for the session. I already thought of that.
I'm thinking of using flash to display the images. And PHP to disable right click and bind the printscreen key to some sort of popup message.

Users can switch off scripting in their browser, so theres no way you can be sure to disable right clicking.
Same goes for binding Print Screen.
Paint Shop Pro, and may other screen grabbers, allow you to use any key you like to grab whats on the screen.
Seriously, whatever you do a user will be able to get round it if they really want to. If they don't really want to then theres no need to worry about them "stealing" the images. The best defense in this is a copyright notice and a lawyer.
Advice noted. Thankyou🙂
