[Resolved] Installing domxml

Hello:

I'm trying to get started using XML in PHP.
I'm trying to run the example from:

http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.domdocument-dump-file.php

but when I do I get "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: domxml_new_doc() "

I'm on Win XP Pro, PHP 4.3.6, Apache 1.3.

I did install the iconv.dll file in windows\system32.

Any help appreciated.

Hi geek55,

I played with this a while ago and had no problems. But in the past I have had a lot of troubles with the Oracle dll and while trying to find out what was wrong I found this nice little tool.

What it does is check all of the references within a dll and makes sure they can be found e.g. wrong oracle installation.

This might help you but I'm not sure. Give it a try.

If not the only other thing that comes to mind is have you turned on the extension in the php.ini.
