how to hide the files

I installed Apache, PHP, mysql on my Windows pro machine. I place all my PHP files in the root directory of Apache. By using my machine's IP, I can access my root directory from outside of my LAN. But what I want is only showing the webpages that I created. So who could I hide the files and code by accessing my IP address by other people from ouside of my LAN?

to disallow the indexing of directories - look at the httpd.conf file. You are looking to changed Indexes to -Indexes which should stop it...

or u could just include a index file under each directory....
quite time consuming but it works 😉
