Getting Listed on Search Engines

Hi,

I was hoping some users could share their experiences with getting php sites listed on search engines.

Currently, I am working on a site which will provide news/reviews/forums for tech related products. I know that search engines now examine page content to determine page rank. If all my articles and documents are displayed dynamically - ie via database query then how would I ever achieve a good listing rank.

Any tricks or information on getting php sites listed quickly and well would be appreciated.
