Form to text file

I am trying to creating to create a form to allow users to enter data and then have the ability to save the file as a comma sep delimited file. Can some one assist?

Example of what i am looking for...

Product name:
Product Description:
Product Price:

I would like to allow a person to pull up the web page that has the above titles and then a text box for the user to enter data. Then when they are done click a save button that will save it to there local machine.

The only way off the top of my head that I could figure this out would be to gather the data, write to disk, and then refresh the user to that location, or provide them a link to it. I think you'd haveta make it with an extension that their browser would read as "downloadable", but the above should work.

that is fine. I would be fine with downloading the file. The problem is i don't know how to write the code?

I'm not gonna write the whole thign for ya, where's the learning in that? I will say though that you'll need to understadn teh following php functions:

fopen()
fwrite()
fclose()
header()

Those four, in that order, will do the above. Good luck.
