Hi, What does "web service" mean? I always hear about this term related with Java and JSP. Does PHP able to do such things? Also if there a link to an article discuss this term in simple way, I will be appreciated. 😕

A web service is just a web site that is designed to be used by programs rather than by people. All the fuss is about the protocols that have been designed so that a program written by one person can use a web service written by someone else.
PHP can do this.
