[Resolved] little normalization help

my current structure looks like this (for a personal library)

table 1: alpha
alpha_id
alpha_case

table 2: artist
art_id
alpha_id
art_name

table 3: album
alb_id
art_id
alb_name
alb_year
alb_band
alb_label
alb_img

table 4: track
track_id
alb_id
track_title
track_time

table 5: lyric
lyric_id
track_id
lyric_write
lyric_lyr

My problem stems from when multiple albums (such as greatest hits) contain the same tracks as previous albums. How would I go about fixing this to were I do not have to input the info twice in the track table or am I asking to much?

how about having a table with all the track info in it (id, name, artist name)

then in the album table simply refer to the track using its id

Is this more feasible for how I am wanting to cross reference the info? Came to this conclusion after reevaluating the tables and re-reading this PHP Normalization

track_extra (this will hold add info, such as featuring artist, etc)

album.alb_id
track.track_id

I used the above on a test and it has worked so far.
