Making Online Multiplayer PHP Game...

(Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong forum)

Anyways, I want to create/make my own Online Multiplayer PHP Game, where just a bunch of people can enter in there name and then they can start playing some type of PHP game with other people.

The things is, I do know some/a pretty good bit of PHP. But I was wondering, what type of game would you recommend that I try to make. I want it to be simple though. And I want it to be where a bunch of people can come on and play against/with each other.

I'm having a hard time deciding what type of good and simple game can I make in PHP.

Seems that the most popular game to make in php are rpg's. Probably because they can be turn based, which alows the server to load new content with a relativly small amount of client side scripting.

Ever play the game Drug War? Would be interesting to see a multiplayer version of that. It's strictly text based, so no fancy graphics. Just make sure you put in disclaimers on all pages that it's all virtual, that you are not selling REAL drugs LOL.

Make a page with random chances of running into rival dealers. If you run into one, go to knife_fight.php 😃
