when you click COMMENTS, the url changes to this.

http://bignaj.com/index.php?action=show&id=1

i need it so that it does something like this,

http://bignaj.com/index.php?id=complete&action=show&id=1

how would i go about doing this ?

the second occurence of id will overwrite the first, pick another variable name

ya but how do i make the news script integrate with my index file ?

Change the variable name.

at the moment you have a string like
http://bignaj.com/index.php?id=complete&action=show&id=1
change that to
http://bignaj.com/index.php?id=complete&action=show&id2=1
and then change all references to id in your news script to $GET['id2'] rather than $GET['id']

sorry if im just not grasping the concept lol.

index.php is set up sorta like so:

include = header.php, menu.php, $page.php, footer.php

my news system works just fine by itself...
www.bignaj.com/complete.php

im trying to use complete.php inside of index.php by doing this...
www.bignaj.com/index.php?id=complete

so basically it loads my header, menu, complete.php, and my footer all in one page, index.php.

so basically my only problem is that when you click comments it does not work because the news system is not setup to work with my current setup by including the header,menu,page,and footer. is this making sense ?? =) thanks man

My previous posts still apply that there's one more issue which I hadn't thought of, you're going to have to rebuild the url for every link, create a begining template this.

$this_page_url=$_SERVER['PHP_SELF'].'?id=complete';

and then for all local links use that variable instead of $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] (and abviously use & instead of ? for the next variable you catenate onto the url)
