I was just wondering is the UK the only place where people feel so strongly about this yeast bi-product? I guess it's just one of those things you either love or you hate, like marmot licking. So who loves it, who hates it and is anyone who's tasted it really indifferent? What other names are there for this kind of thing in other countries (so I know what to look for when I'm abroad :p)?
In this I'm including vegetable extracts like Vegemite (yes, I can take your Auzzie/Kiwi flaming) and even beef extracts like Bovril, although that's quite different.
