I want a visit / visitor counter, NOT HIT counter. I want it to be able to have text OR images, please (so I can use it for different things). I want to be able to make my own images and offer it for my visitors. So I want it to be simple to install, preferably one file. I really want NO ssi to call it, because usually you have to rename your pages. I want javascript to call it. No php to call it, either (same thing!). OR you could just offer all three and pick your choice. And, of course, I'd like to be able to set the number the counter displays. I'd also like to set IP numbers to ignore hits from. Could it record the webmaster's number automatically? Let's see, anything else, I would like to be able to set minimum number of digits, I suppose. Anything else? Well, anything that can be added while still keeping it very simple. Perhaps setting how long to not count a re-hit. I estimate that a counter should be easy, or even you've made one, so you'd only need to edit it. So I won't estimate a large amount of time on this project. Sorry if I bid low for you, you guys tend to ignore that anyway. ---- There has been some confusion and I do not want this written in javascript, I don't believe that is possible. I want the call/include to be in javascript, so that no one needs to change their page extensions to .shtml or .php.
