I started learning php, and the script i need, seems should be like 'straight from the book', but it this point i need help from someone to write this script for me, because there is no time to wait till i get "smarter".
What i ultimately need:
Let say i have 30 items from different manufacturers and i would need to have possibility to compare them to each other
as well as compare all of them at once. They should be compared to each other on 20-30 fields ( like year of release, size, size, speed, formats and so on) .
I don't think there is a need to be able to sort data (by size, quantity, size etc)) by fields - it will just make the problem more complicated . Being able to compare visually 2-5 item is more than enough.
What should be added: thumb picture (or popup, if direct link to the picture is provided in data), simple voting system, and possibility to provide link to another site with its review.
PERFECT EXAMPLE:
i found website, which is exactly what i am looking for: cmsmatrix.org, which compares existing CMS systems.
Since i am "on time" at the moment, i looked everywhere. The closest thing i could find is BKBcompare module, which is being created for Post-Nuke. We're using PHP-Nuke for our website.
I would ike to quote the creation or conversion/completion of one module created for post-nuke into php-nuke module.
