[Resolved] passing variables from Flash

Hi,

I have a flash menu that passes varibles to my PHP page. I should add that RegisterGlobals is turned off and I cannot changes this.

The flash menu calls a url, eg

index.php?pageid=1

However I am unable to get my page to be able to read the pageid value.

I have added

$pageid = $_GET['pageid'];

to my script but it still will not work, however it seems to work occasionally.

I know this seems odd, but I cannot work it out.

Could someone point me in the right direction and highlight my error. I know I have made one somewhere.

I have now resolved my problem.

Whilst I could not get the variables from the url to work I have reconfigured my Flash menu to pass the variables as opposed to adding them to the URL.

I did have the following in Flash

getURL("stocklist.php?page=1", "_self", "POST");

I have changed it to

set ("page", "1");
getURL("stocklist.php", "_self", "POST");

Everything works now
