making .inc files unreadable and not d/l able

I am running a Linux Red Hat Server 7.1+ maybe 7.2, i forget

How can i configure my server so the my '.inc' files cannot be read and downloaded by anyone, and only used by the scripts on my server??

Put this in your httpd.conf and restart apache:

<Files ~ "\.inc$">
    Order allow,deny
    Deny from all
</Files>
