Installation GTk under Red Hat linux

Hi i'm beginner italian student .
A little time user on Linux system and develop with PHP i'm very interesting to build-interface and stand-alone software with GTK.
The problem about the installation of php-gtk. Under Red Hat linux i've just installed
PHP4.3.6 with like DSO of Apache.
When installed php-gtk in /usr/local/php-gtk
I've use the cd /php-gtk and launch script
./buildconf for creation of configure.
I receive this message:
make: phpize: Command not found
make: *** [buildmk.stamp] Error 127
What dom make?

I find the the answer to my questions.
My system needed the php-devel module
and i've just installed now.
When i launch ./configure i receive one error message:
checking for PHP executable in /usr/bin... configure: error: Could not locate PHP executable.
I've installed PHP in this path:
/usr/local/php-4.3.6
What i do?
