Wasn't that the name of the bad guy (or girl as it ended up being) in the first Ghostbusters film?

I seem to remember the bit where Sigourney Weaver opens her fridge and there are loads of monsters in it and one of those dogs says "Xul!!"

You may want to take a look at Creating Applications with Mozilla by O'Reilly. That link is the HTML version, completely accessible via the web. You might also want to take a look at this article. I'm not sure how much you already know, but it looks like you better get familiar with CSS, XML, DTD's, and RDF. Basically, immerse yourself in the XML universe, and XUL should be fairly easy to grasp.

Although, you might already know all this LOL. To accurately respond to your post...

I was debating whether to code a forum or to make an extension for Mozilla this summer. I still am debating. I am in the process of learning XUL for that reason.

So I'm not using it...yet. But XUL seems to be the language of choice if you want to do anything Mozilla-related.

I read an article where they were using XUL in an e-commerce setting -looked very interesting... but at only 1.7% of our visitors using Mozilla, I don't think it warrants full-out development. I was just curious what else it could be used for- I might play with it with some in-house stuff (in all my spare time, ha!)
