Filtering Data From MYSQL

i have a problem,

I want to select some rows out of mysql, but not the duplicated one. data that are duplicated, I only want it ones.

ex. with:

select * from $support where type='$pid' order by 'model'

Result:

Aura

...

Who can I do it that way that I get as Result:

Anima
Aura
Docking
WLAN

SELECT DISTINCT model FROM $support WHERE type = '$pid' ORDER BY model

try that query out.
